Cell Phone/Device Policy
- Cell phone use is prohibited throughout school and for the duration of the school day.
- Headphones, Air pods, etc. are also prohibited on campus at all times.
- During the instructional day, cell phones must remain out of sight and in off mode.
- Cell phones must be placed and remain in backpacks at all times.
- If students need to place an emergency phone call during the day, they should request to go to the main office to use an office phone.
- Cell phone use in the restroom is prohibited at all times and will result in disciplinary consequences.
- Students may be subject to further disciplinary action if their use of their cell phone disrupts the school's educational environment. Examples of this include, but are not limited to: cheating, bullying, harassment, unlawful recording or photographing, and violating other school rules.
- The school and its staff are not responsible for any damage to or theft of a student's cell phone or any other electronic items. Students must properly secure and take care of their own phones.
- 1st Offense: Cell phone/device will be confiscated and must be picked up by a parent.
- 2nd Offense: Cell phone/device will be confiscated and must be picked up by a parent for a fine of $15.
